How PDFMerged Works
All PDF processing happens 100% client-side in your web browser using JavaScript. When you upload and merge PDFs:
- •Your files are processed entirely in your browser's memory
- •No files are uploaded to our servers
- •No files are stored anywhere
- •No third parties have access to your files
- •When you close the browser tab, all data is immediately cleared
Analytics We Collect
To improve our service, we collect minimal, anonymous analytics:
- •Number of files merged (not the files themselves)
- •User language preference
- •Basic browser information (user agent)
- •Timestamp of merge events
We do not collect: IP addresses, personal information, file names, file contents, or any identifying information.
Cookies
PDFMerged does not use cookies for tracking. We only use essential browser storage (localStorage) to save your language preference.
Third-Party Services
PDFMerged does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Data Security
Since all processing happens in your browser and no files are transmitted to our servers, your data is as secure as your device. We recommend:
